FAQ

How do I prepare for my first visit?

Masks are still required in health care settings.

  1. Wear comfortable clothing. You will need to be able to roll up your pants to the knees and sleeves to the elbows. We employ points that are easily accessible on the arms and legs and head to treat everything on the whole body with great results. Patients remove just their socks and shoes to get ready for treatment.

  2. Arrive 10 - 15 minutes early, if possible, to check in, complete patient forms (see below), and visit the restroom.

  3. After you consult with the acupuncturist, you will receive a treatment. Please allow 45-60 minutes from your appointment time.

How can I get the best results?

The trick with acupuncture is: Getting Enough Acupuncture.

Frequency and Regularity is what leads to great results.

We will provide you with a treatment plan (frequency of visits) for your condition, at the time of your initial visit.

What are the benefits of the community setting

Resting in the company of others can be a simple, no nonsense, yet powerful health experience. Many find it quite comforting and reassuring.
In a community acupuncture clinic, people are invited into a large tranquil room.  There are comfy recliner chairs, nicely clustered to allow for a calm personal space.  Many people bring their family or friends to focus on health together.
